Sunscreen prevents dark spots, early wrinkles and sunburn — but only if you use enough of the right one.
SPF and PA
SPF measures protection from UVB (burning) rays; PA measures protection from UVA (ageing) rays. Look for SPF 30–50 and PA+++ or PA++++.
How much?
Two finger-lengths for the face and neck. Most people use a third of that — and get a third of the protection.
Reapply
Reapply every two to three hours outdoors, and after sweating or swimming. A sunscreen stick or SPF mist makes it easy over makeup.
